USAGE GUIDE

Step 1 | Connecting Your Unit: Using the provided Micro-USB cable, plug the unit into a computer USB port capable of USB data exchange. The computer may not detect the Hub and instead only detect the devices plugged into the unit's USB ports.

Step 2 | Connecting A Data Source: When connecting a product such as a printer or USB memory stick into a connected Hub, your computer should detect it. Note that the decal on the USB Hub will only light up when exchanging data.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Problems Connecting The Unit

If the decal doesn't light up...
The decal may only light up when data is being transferred between the computer and the device connected to the Hub. If Charging a device such as a mobile phone, the decal may not light up.
Try connecting a data transferring device such as a USB Stick to see if the light turns on.
Check that the micro-USB cable is connected firmly into the unit, if the cable is moved and causes the light to flicker or the data connection to disconnect, it may be faulty. Try replacing the micro-USB cable with a fully wired for data micro-USB cable.

Problems Charging/Connecting Devices

The Hub without an AC Adaptor accessory can only output the maximum that your computer's USB port can output. For example if your computer's maximum output via USB is only 500mA, the unit can only draw out 500mA. This means some newer handsets - and tablets especially - may not charge up via the Hub. Also, due to certain restrictions devices like the iPad put into place on the way their device charges via USB, it may not be possible to charge the device through the Hub.
Also note that when connecting multiple devices that require power at the same time, function of the device connected may stop as it is not receiving enough power.

External Hard Drive Not Receiving Power

If you can't get the Hub to detect your Hard Drive, you may need to purchase a 1000mA AC Adaptor separately that can provide enough power for your External Hard Drive to connect properly. (It is recommended to take the Hub with you to the store to find a suitable power boosting AC Adaptor)

We will cover any defect in the LED or LID systems due to wiring faults, soldering faults or casing deformations. If an international short circuit or intentional malicious damage is found the unit is not covered under warranty.

Units that have been opened by any part or accidently damaged by any users or suppliers are not covered.
